Join Earl Blumenauer for a Public Forum on Restoring Communities Devastated by the Failed War on Drugs

The War on Drugs has been a decades-long, $1 trillion policy failure that has disproportionately affected low-income communities and people of color. Simply ending the War on Drugs is not enough. We need a plan to restore the lives and communities most impacted by this disastrous policy.

Those caught in the cross-hairs of this discriminatory system continue to be socially, legally, and economically punished long after they have served out their sentences. The result? Chronic cycles of unemployment, housing instability, and sporadic emergency room visits that make it nearly impossible for people to get the help they need.

Congressman Earl Blumenauer is hosting a public forum to discuss what we can do about this issue. He wants to hear your ideas and questions about ways we can rebuild communities devastated by the War on Drugs. His remarks will be followed by a fully interactive panel discussion that will feature experts in the fields of mental health and criminal justice.
