I’m a semi-retired attorney and a part-time professor at the University of Oregon, and have been an active Democrat since 1980. I was a volunteer election integrity attorney for Mike Dukakis in Harlem, for Barack Obama in Albuquerque and for Hillary Clinton in rural Virginia. I’ve served on the DPO Rules Committee, written many hundreds of postcards, canvassed with literature for Democratic candidates and raised thousands of dollars for those candidates.
I’m also a former Chair of the Oregon Commission for Women and a former President of Friends of Multnomah County Library. Today I serve on the board of Open Stage Project, a nonprofit based in New York City that helps introduce high school girls and nonbinary youth to professional opportunities in the theatrical backstage trades like stage management, electrical and lighting. I’m a member of the DPO Labor Caucus and a proud member of AAUP/AFT Local 3209.
In recent years I’ve been an alternate to the DPO State Central Committee, and have never missed a meeting, and I’m asking for your vote to become a full delegate this time around. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
