Stephanie Vardavas

Since being redistricted into CD1 I have been an active member of the CD1 Central Committee and have chaired the CD1 Rules Committee. I’ve been a Democratic activist for decades and have canvassed, held house parties, written postcards and volunteered in other ways. I’m known for being a creative advocate, not only in social media, but in business, where I had the honor and pleasure of leading the merchandising campaign for Nelson Mandela’s first US visit after his release from Robben Island prison.

Some of you may also know me as the purveyor of the little yellow buttons depicted in my profile photo. I order them by the thousand and distribute them like Johnny Appleseed. Among the happy recipients have been Joe Biden, Howard Dean, Jon Stewart and Oregonians too numerous to mention.
