Reginald Richardson Jr

My name is Reginald Richardson Jr, I am running for a State Central Committee (SCC) delegate position to continue serving our party and advocating for equity, justice and representation. As a current SCC delegate for the Black Caucus and a member of the Rules Committee, l’ve worked to uphold Democratic values and ensure fair processes within our party. I also serve as a pastor in Multnomah County, a chaplain at Adventist Health Portland and a committed community advocate.

In 2024, I had the honor of representing Oregon as a delegate to the Democratic National Convention, where we nominated Kamala Harris for president. While the election did not go as planned, I remain deeply committed to supporting leaders who fight for justice, equity and opportunity for all.

My vision for the SCC includes bolstering our party’s elected officials, defending Oregon’s way of life and increasing representation for people of color and other marginalized groups. Together, we can promote Democratic ideals and elect candidates up and down the ballot. I humbly ask for your support in this election to continue this important work.
