Moses Ross

Moses Ross has been active in the Multnomah County and Oregon Democratic Party since 2004 as a County Party Officer, County Fundraising Chair, as District Leader and representing his neighbors as a Precinct Committee Person. He has been a voting delegate of both the County and State Central Committees and was elected by Oregon Democrats as a delegate to the Democratic National Conventions in 2008, 2016, 2020 and 2024.

Moses recently ran for the Portland City Council to represent District 4 and is currently in his eighth year as President of the Multnomah Neighborhood Association, having served from 2010-2014 and from 2021 to the present.

He served on the Multnomah County Community Budget Advisory Committee from 2018 to 2023 and the Multnomah County Charter Review Committee in 2015 where he championed the MultCo Campaign Finance Reform measure through the committee and onto the county-wide ballot where over 75% of county voters approved it, which in turn got the City of Portland Honest Elections measure on the ballot which passed by over 78% approval of Portland voters. He was PTA President for two terms of Maplewood Elementary, where his daughter attended school.

Professionally, Moses is a successful small business owner that has recently celebrated 20 years in business.
