It’s been an honor to represent Multnomah Democrats at our State Party for the last few years, and I hope you’ll entrust me to continue to serve.

We are certainly in interesting times. I’m hopeful and excited about the progress Portland and the County can make with our new leaders.

But I’m also very concerned about our nation, as I imagine you are too. We have our work cut out for us: protecting our rights, our freedoms, our environment, our workers, our schools and healthcare and our safety and those of our neighbors in the next few years.

It’s going to take Persistence. Cooperation. Curiosity. Listening to our neighbors and communities to understand their priorities, as well as communicating in language and in channels that can reach folks we are not yet reaching.

I’m committed to fight for our democracy; to organize, to support and to elect Democrats at every level, school board to governor — this is the critical work of our Party.

I’m sharing a photo from this fall campaigning with my House District Rep. Hoa Nguyen, as a Neighborhood Leader Coordinator, PCP and volunteer organizer. We helped Democrats win in tough East County races, and we turned out the votes for our newest member of Congress, Janelle Bynum. When We Fight, We Win!
