Damien Schlobohm

My name is Damien. I am a hospital-based physical therapist, Portland resident and proud union member. The daily suffering of patients, families and my fellow workers during the pandemic opened my eyes to the truth about healthcare in America, that our healthcare system isn’t broken, it is working exactly as intended. The working class get sick and stay sick, working for little reward and rare validation. Through my experiences, I’ve realized that the only way to improve the healthcare system, the people who receive it and the lives of the people who provide it, is to legislate it. I’m committed to being part of the solution by engaging more deeply in local politics. I would be honored to contribute my knowledge, passion and dedication to making a tangible difference to the Democratic Party of Oregon as a Multnomah County State Central Committee Delegate.
