Cindy Smith

I’m Cindy Smith, a retired Air Force Master Sergeant, PCP, SCC delegate, Veterans Caucus Chair and DPO Rules Committee member.

I’ve organized Veterans Caucus phone and text banks to help re-elect Val Hoyle and Andrea Salinas to Congress and send over 350 GOTV postcards to swing states. I’ve dropped slate cards and contacted my neighbors in the Neighborhood Leader Program.

On the Rules Committee I’ve worked hard to ensure the DPO continues to be more diverse and consider issues on the basis of fairness and inclusivity.

I believe it’s an honor to serve our country. After serving in Iraq in 2003, I retired from the Air Force with a VA disability rating. After retiring I worked as a Service Liaison at the Pentagon and as a Program Manager for the Department of Justice’s Inspector General.
