Why I'm running.
I’m a PCP from HD 45 (Rose City!) and have been a proud member of the Multnomah Democrats since 2020. I’ve worked in marketing and communications for over twenty years and have been a part of the Comms team from the start. For a time I was Co-Chair of the Campaign Committee, and in 2022 I was elected Communication Officer.
In a short period of time I believe I have made a big impact on this vital grassroots organization. Our social channels have been rebooted. With the Campaign Committee I helped to organize the Central Committee “Meet and Greets” with candidates leading up to the Primary in 2022. The number of “Pillars of the Party” financial contributors has doubled. And at Celsi I brought in Aidan Kohn-Murphy of Gen-Z for Change and invited 20+ high school students to attend the event for free. This is a tradition I’d like to continue.
As a Congressional Committee Delegate I will work hard to build a stronger relationship between this organization and our Elected Representatives. From education to housing to the environment there is a lot of work to be done, but I’m excited to step up and take on this new leadership position.
I’m very much appreciate your vote.
