I’m running for Mayor of Portland to solve the biggest challenges holding our city back. Portland is facing a homelessness crisis, rising crime, and a struggling economy, and I know we can fix these problems with strong, experienced leadership.
As a City Commissioner, I’ve led efforts to improve public safety, build affordable housing, and support small businesses. I’ve delivered real results and held our city accountable. But we need to go further.
I’m running because I believe in Portland’s potential. I’ll work to make our streets safer, help people get housed, and rebuild our economy so small businesses can thrive. Portlanders deserve a city that works for everyone—one where people feel safe, supported, and hopeful about the future.

I understand the unprecedented challenges Portland faces today. As we continue grappling with the economic impacts of the pandemic and the resulting crises in housing, community safety, and public health, I am uniquely qualified to lead our city through these trying times. My extensive experience in building and managing a large organization, together with my political and lived experience, equips me with the skills necessary to implement realistic, effective solutions that address both immediate needs and long-term goals.

We all know the status quo is unacceptable. We have a lot of work to do to address our high living costs, homelessness, open drug use, and the struggles of our downtown. But I believe in Portland and I know we work best when we are focused on sensible solutions that bridge our divides.

I am the only candidate that has actually delivered meaningful change and solutions.

In just the few years that I have been in office, I fixed our dysfunctional permitting system, expanded Portland Street Response, and focused on addressing the homelessness crisis by making housing construction easier and focusing our policies on what we know that works – a strong Shelter to Housing continuum with supportive services.

We need a Mayor who can move us beyond the divisive state of this city – who can change the narrative – and who will deliver real results. The only answer to that question is me.
