House District 45
Why I'm running.
I am passionate about bettering my community and am running for office to expand access to health care, provide support for working families, mothers, care workers and more, and make sure more people are able to have as much opportunity as I have had in my life.
My top 3 priorities.
Increasing housing affordability and protecting tenants from evictions and unreasonable rent increases; Expanding supportive housing, addiction and mental health care, and other services to support people experiencing homelessness; and ensuring affordable and accessible health care for all Oregonians.
Why voters should choose me.
I have the right background and experience to represent this district. It has shifted east, adding more diverse and working-class parts of East Portland. I came here as a child, growing up in a low-income household. With the support of the community, I became a doctor and small business owner. As a mom, I understand the needs of working parents like family leave and child care affordability. I represented these communities on the Parkrose School Board and my business is located in Hollywood, giving me solid roots in this community and a strong understanding of the needs of the district.
