Why I'm running.
I want to be a voice for our community. I am a product of public school education, and I want to be an example that it is possible to succeed with a public school education. I grew up in East Portland/Gresham since I was five years old and have worked with students from Reynolds in my earlier career.
My top 3 priorities.
Focus on safer schools
Getting students up to reading levels
Increasing student, parent and community engagement.
Why voters should choose me.
I bring no personal agenda to this role. I want to make effective change to help students succeed in life. I will bring an open mind and collaborative energy to help solve complex issues facing our public education.
