Why I'm running.
I am proud of the work I have done representing my district over the past three years. The challenges we face as a community have only intensified over my first term in office- climate change, racial injustice, an economy that doesn’t work for workers- all on top of the pandemic. Metro’s role is to make sure that all of our communities have the resources, policies, and tools to address these challenges in neighborhoods in every corner of the region.
My top 3 priorities.
My top priorities are affordable housing and homelessness, transportation, regional parks, and good jobs.
Why voters should choose me.
I have the experience, not only as a one term elected official, but also as an advocate and policy analyst, to make a difference at Metro. I have stood with labor unions to advocate for workers, advanced our work on building affordable housing and providing services to those living on our streets, and pushed for transportation planning frameworks that balance safety, climate, equity, and mobility. I lead with my values, but also do the work with cities, counties, and community partners to make policies workable and pragmatic. I would be honored to earn your vote, please reach out with any questions.
