Attention PCPs: Bylaw amendments recommended by the Rules Committee and endorsed by the Executive Committee are before the Central Committee. Article IX amendments were approved in January, and Article VI and VIII will be considered at the February meeting.

We will start the meeting, again, with a moment of silence in commemoration of the lives taken and the lives affected by gun violence. We will then take ten to fifteen minutes for members to speak briefly on reactions to items in the news.

A representative from Renew Oregon will present on clean energy and “the coalition of businesses, non-profits, faith and community organizations, and individual Oregonians working to make Oregon a leader in the fight against climate change to promote a cleaner, more prosperous state.”

A Multnomah County Party Platform Convention is planned for January 16th. Faith Ruffing, chair of the Platform, Resolutions and Legislation Committee will explain the process and the planning for it.
