What drives me to seek an elected position
I’m running again for the same reason that I became a registered nurse, I want to help people!
These are trying times, Trump and the Republicans are turning this country into one which we hardly recognize. I’m proud to stand with working people and everyday Oregonians who are fighting for the state and country we deserve.
The first three priorities or issues I want to tackle
My priorities are rooted in advocating for working people. Collectively, we must reverse the increasing income inequality in our state and country.
I’ve been a champion for workers, healthcare and equity. I’ve passed laws to hold employers accountable; laws that increase worker power; laws that hold those that violate child labor laws accountable; a law to create the Universal Healthcare Governance Board and many others.
The experiences and insights I will bring to the office
I’ve been a strong advocate for healthcare, workers and equity since coming to the legislature in 2022. I’ve passed multiple bills related to improving the lives of people. From the creation of the Universal Healthcare Governance Board to safe to nurse patient ratios I have a strong track record of winning on behalf of the people.
What being a Democrat in Multnomah County means to me
Being a Democrat means standing up for the party platform and Democratic values. Democrats become the party of the people and stand for a people’s agenda, not just in opposition to Republicans.
